The dietetics programme at the university of applied sciences requires the positive completion of all courses (lectures, labs, seminars, project work, workshops and integrated courses) to the extent of 30 ECTS points per semester according to the curriculum. It integrates technical-methodical, social-communicative, scientific and managerial elements. Included are relevant work placements in hospital wards, catering and dietetic departments. The degree (BSc, dietitian) is awarded upon the successful completion of two bachelor theses and the final examination. For the successful award of the degree, it is neccessary to acquireconsolidated knowledge as well as practical competence and skills. Curriculum of the programme according to the application as approved by the Fachhochschul Council (Classification nr. 0407). 180 ECTS credits. Access to academic professions according to the professional regulation; Diploma in the sense of directive 2005/36/EG. This degree entitles the holder to use the job title of „dietetics“ according to sec. para. 1, line 4 MTD-G BGBL. no 460/1992, and amendments.
